Terms of Service
Last updated: 18 June 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using HookTrader (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. We may update these terms at any time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. Service Description
HookTrader is a webhook-driven trade execution platform that connects TradingView alerts to Binance USDⓈ-M Futures. The Service automates order placement, stop-loss/take-profit management, and position monitoring based on your configured strategies.
HookTrader acts only as a transport for the alert payload that you author and that your TradingView account sends to your private webhook URL. It executes on Binance using Binance market data. HookTrader does not ingest, store, display, or redistribute TradingView market data, quotes, charts, or feeds, and does not require a TradingView data subscription to operate. Price monitoring, stop-loss, and take-profit decisions are made from Binance market data only.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, disassemble, or circumvent any security measures of the Service
- Share your account credentials or allow third parties to access your account
- Use the Service to manipulate markets or engage in wash trading
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Exceed reasonable usage limits or abuse the webhook ingestion endpoints
- Use the Service in any way that violates the terms of your own TradingView account or plan
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of TradingView alerts and webhooks with HookTrader complies with TradingView's own Terms of Service, House Rules, and the requirements of your TradingView plan. TradingView webhook alerts require a paid TradingView plan and two-factor authentication enabled on your TradingView account.
4. Trading Risk Disclaimer
Trading cryptocurrency futures involves substantial risk of loss.
You acknowledge that: futures trading is highly leveraged and can result in losses exceeding your initial margin; past performance of any strategy does not guarantee future results; automated execution systems may malfunction, experience delays, or behave unexpectedly during periods of high volatility or exchange downtime.
You are solely responsible for your trading decisions and the configuration of your strategies. HookTrader does not provide financial advice, trading signals, or investment recommendations.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HookTrader and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to: trading losses, lost profits, data loss, or service interruptions — whether arising from software bugs, exchange API failures, network issues, or any other cause. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
6. Data Handling
Your exchange API credentials are encrypted at rest using Fernet symmetric encryption and are only decrypted in an isolated worker process during trade execution. We collect and store trade history, strategy configurations, and account information necessary to operate the Service. For full details on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
7. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, the Service, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may also delete your account at any time through the dashboard settings.
8. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated via the platform dashboard or email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
9. Beta Status
HookTrader is currently in closed beta. The platform is under active development and features may change, break, or be removed without notice. Beta users accept additional risk that the Service may not perform as expected and that data loss or service disruptions are possible.
10. Third-Party Services and Trademarks
HookTrader integrates with third-party services, including TradingView and Binance, that are operated independently and governed by their own terms. We reference these services nominatively to describe what HookTrader does; we do not reproduce their logos or stylized wordmarks.
“TradingView” is a trademark of TradingView, Inc., and “Binance” is a trademark of its respective owner. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners. HookTrader is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise officially connected to TradingView, Inc. or Binance.
